The Thrane & Thrane Messenger provides a truly portable 64 kbps/ISDN communications service for worldwide* voice and data transmissions via Inmarsat. The terminal is also compatible with MPDS (Mobile Packet Data Services), where you are charged only for the amount of information sent and received, rather than for the time connected.
The Messenger is housed in a magnesium case, making it ideal for rugged outdoor use, yet light enough to be carried easily. The antenna is easy to unfold and can be positioned up to 200 metres away from the main unit.
