Quicklink Store and Forward LNG

The Quicklink Store and Forward LNG solution is a simple to use MAC or Windows based system which has be optimised to be used both whilst at home in the bureau or on location. The easy to follow parameter settings enable journalists and other content providers to tune the system to their precise broadcast needs for store and forward transmission. Parameter settings enable users to take account of the content type and to optimise the compression ratio to achieve the requisite broadcast quality given the available local network connectivity.

Quicklink Store and Forward LNG Software allows customers complete flexibility in their choice of hardware and includes a simple DV capture facility. The Software also interfaces to all leading editing suites utilising AVI, QuickTime reference and various Frame Serving Exports. This SD/HD software incorporates a H264 high quality codec capable of delivering highly compressed network efficient files which produce unsurpassed interlaced picture quality for transmissions.

All content is labelled in accordance with the broadcasters own specification supporting XML, Smile and MFX. To complement the Quicklink Store & Forward LNG software, Quicklink offers the Standard Definition or High Definition Playout Server which incorporates the Quicklink Broadcast Manager software. The Broadcast Manager Software at the Playout Server enables full management for the play out, scheduling and archiving criteria of the media.
